Hon. Isiaka, Ayokunle Ibrahim, Member Governing Board of the Nigerian Youth Congress

Our dearest erudite and quintessential man with substantial values; Hon. Isiaka Ayokunle Ibrahim; an embodiments of skill, knowledge and desire was born more than 50 Years ago to Late Alhaji Wahab Isiaka the then Chief Imam of Wasimi Land in Ewekoro Local Government Area and late Mrs M . A Isiaka (aka) Iya Olobi both from Owu/Egba kingdoms. His progenitors propagated and spread Islamic Religion to Wasimi Land and other surrounding villages and Towns. Ibrahim is fondly called “Easy Life” by friends and admirers.

Currently, not just a Member of The House of Representatives Representing the Good and Progressive People of Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency; He is the Chairman; House Committee on Ecological Funds stewarding to address ecological problems across the federation to; solve serious ecological problems such as soil erosion, flooding, drought, desertification, oil spillage, general environmental pollution, storms, tornadoes, bush fires, crop pests, landslides, earthquakes, as well as prevent suffering and possible death from these natural disasters.

Rep. Isiaka is also a member of other Prestigious Committees viz: Representative of Ogun State in The Constitutional Review, Petroleum (Upstream), Health, Works, Freedom of Information, Industry, Federal Characters, Telecommunications and Internally Displaced Persons.

In the year 2012, the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun invited Ibrahim back home and appointed him as the Senior Special Assistant on Project Management. First at the Ogun State Universal Basic Education, where he proved his mettle as a real seasoned Project Management Expert, core Technocrat and a Politician per excellence. Within 2 Years, he covered the entire 236 Wards of Ogun State and executed 1,234 projects visiting 1,100 out of the 1,497 Schools in Ogun State. The winner of the most Outstanding SSA in Ogun State(-Gateway News), succeeded in pushing Ogun SUBEB from No. 35 as a non-performing state in Nigeria during the 2012 UBEC assessment, to No. 12 in the 2013 assessment year,

In July 2012, Hon Isiaka was a member of the Team of Experts dispatched to China by The Ogun State Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun (FCA, CON) on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Resuscitation of Ogun Export Promotion Zone (EPZ). Consequently His Excellency the Governor of Ogun State added, in November 2013, a new task of completing one of the best Global Practices; Geographical Information System-LAMS (GIS) Project to Ibrahim`s responsibilities as an SSA on the project.

For his elementary education, Ibrahim attended Baptist Central School, Wasimi from 1972 to 1978. Islamic Education 1978-1979 and proceeded to United Comprehensive High School, Wasimi 1979-1984 for his WASC `O` Level and graduated as one of the prefects.

In 1988, Ibrahim gained admission into the Ogun State Polytechnic, (Now Moshhod Abiola University) Abeokuta for his OND and completed his HND in 1993/94 academic session.

Ibrahim did his mandatory National Youth Service with the Akwa Ibom State Government in the 1994/95 service year.

For his Post Graduate, Ibrahim obtained Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) from the University Of Uyo in the year 1998 and capped it up with a Master’s Degree (MBA) majored in Project Management at The University of Calabar in year 2002, With effect from 1995 after the NYSC program, Ibrahim joined the Training group of an Italian Conglomerate (Sirpi-Alusteel Construction Ltd – biggest indigenous Oil and Gas Servicing Company in Nigeria) and was placed on the Job Commercial / Technical Department of the Company. An opportunity that Ibrahim latched on, to equip himself as a Trainee in the Engineering and Construction Management. While under this tutelage, he was employed and rose through the ranks till he became a Guru in the Oil and Gas industry.

Ibrahim is a member of various National and International Professional bodies and has been trained in all spheres of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning of Turnkey projects both Onshore and Offshore, for 20 consecutive years, Ibrahim have been working with consistent experience in; Project engineering planning, Management and Execution, Contract administration, on construction yards and offshore sites of oil field installation projects and held the following positions before his elective office position :

Construction Supervisor; Leading Construction Team (Quality Assurance / Quality Control, Safety, Engineering / Fabrication, Coating and Installation programs) with additional responsibility of providing support service for Marine Operations. Estimated value of MPN commitment on project at appx. $400M

2008 - Dec 2010

EXXONMOBIL (Mobil Producing Nigeria) Intels Camp – Port-Harcourt Location PROJECT CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR; Team Lead (Quality Assurance / Quality Control, Safety, Engineering / Fabrication, Coating and Loadout) supervision for ExxonMobil`s Onshore / Offshore Construction and Installation Programme) Fabrication Yard Supervision that includes 20 Expatriates and 400 Nationals – OCIP.

MANAGER, PROJECT EXECUTION, Ibeno Base Operations - Leading a team (Oversees Security, Community Relations Immigration matters, Logistics and directs general affairs of 40 Expatriates and 1200 Nationals) responsible for Inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, fabrication installation of onshore/offshore programs. Monthly Revenue at appx. $5M

SUFFOLK PETROLEUM SERVICES LIMITED (Operator of ExxonMobil Field Maintenance Services)
MANAGER, SUPPORT SERVICE OPERATIONS; Provides adequate supports for project management, purchasing, timing and value analysis through effective; Planning and scheduling for the deployments of: Work Barges, Supply Boats and Vessels anchorage system during project execution. To improve on all system process procedures for corporate development activities on quality assurance and reliability that includes 120 Expatriates, and 750 Nationals

MARCH 2004 - 2005 SUFFOLK PETROLEUM SERVICES LIMITED (Operator of ExxonMobil Field Maintenance Services)
TECHNICAL/ COMMERCIAL ADVISOR - Provides strategic and operational advisory services to business units. Monitor and manage competence driven on all system process procedures, project sourcing and bid tendering earlier put in place in addition to preparing logistics programs, prospective projects and forecast. General administration; interface with key positions and coordinate the implementation of Company policies - Co-ordinate up to 500 people at a time for projects execution that includes expatriates.
